Dilek Hakkani-Tür

Dilek Hakkani-Tür is a Professor of Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since 2023. Prior to that, she was a dialogue researcher at Amazon Alexa AI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, International Computer Science Institute and AT&T Shannon Labs. Her research interests include conversational AI and natural language and speech processing. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing and an IEEE Distinguished Industry Speaker. She is also a fellow of the IEEE and ISCA.
