Jackson Busch
Legal Fellow
Jackson Busch is a legal fellow at the Knight First Amendment Institute. Before joining the Institute, he clerked for Judge Arianna J. Freeman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Anita B. Brody of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Yale College and Yale Law School. During law school, he was a student director of Yale’s Media Freedom & Information Access Clinic, where he litigated First Amendment and freedom of information cases on behalf of journalists and academics and won the Charles G. Albom Prize for his advocacy before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He also served as a notes and comments editor on the Yale Law Journal and interned for the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project and the New York Office of the Attorney General’s Antitrust Bureau.
