Senior Staff Attorney Ramya Krishnan appeared on the “Lawfare Daily” podcast this week to discuss the recent hearing in a case challenging the federal TikTok ban. A three-judge panel of the U.S.Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit heard argument in the case on Monday.
Krishnan noted that “the real stakes of the case” lie in the “free speech rights of TikTok's 150 million users, and more broadly, the precedent that this case will potentially set for the government's ability to block Americans’ access to other foreign sources of information.”
