The Knight Institute and five other press freedom and human rights organizations today sent a letter to President Biden urging his administration to do more to protect journalists’ ability to safely and freely report on the Israel-Gaza war. 

The letter asks the administration to pursue accountability for journalists killed in the course of the war, and to use its considerable influence with the Israeli government to press them to ensure that journalists are able to safely document military operations, among other requests.
