The Knight Institute and 18 other free expression and freedom of the press organizations today issued a statement in support of Congressman Jim McGovern and colleagues’ request that the U.S. government urge Israel to uphold its commitments to press freedom by providing foreign media with immediate, independent access to Gaza.
