Status of the United States Postal Service as an "Executive Agency" Under Executive Order No. 12,250
In light of the statutory independence given the United States Postal Service (Service) and its officers, Executive Order No. 12,250 should not be construed to include the Service as an "Executive agency" subject to the Attorney General's nondiscrimination coordination authority. The OLC does not provide release dates for its opinions, so the release date listed is the date on which the opinion was authored.
