OCC Mortgage Lending Testing Program
Individuals who serve as "testers" in a proposed Office of the Comptroller of the Currency program designed to identify discriminatory lending practices by national banks would not violate any federal criminal laws if, as part of the program, they provide false information to targeted banks. The OLC does not provide release dates for its opinions, so the release date listed is the date on which the opinion was authored.
