Evan Welber Falcón
Evan Welber Falcón is a legal fellow at the Knight First Amendment Institute. He previously worked on litigation involving free expression, privacy, and surveillance in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia as a Robert L. Bernstein Fellow at the Open Society Justice Initiative and as a staff attorney at the ABA Center for Human Rights. He also investigated atrocity crimes at the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in the Central African Republic. Welber Falcón holds a B.A. in political science and anthropology from Columbia University and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
