Simon Kilmurry is Executive Director of the International Documentary Association, which is one of the plaintiff organizations in Doc Society v. Pompeo. Prior to joining IDA he served as Executive Producer of POV, the long-running PBS showcase of independent documentaries where he received a Prime Time Emmy, 3 Prime Time Emmy nominations, 17 News and Documentary Emmy Awards, more than 60 News & Documentary Emmy nominations, 6 George Foster Peabody Awards, 4 DuPont Columbia Awards, and 2 International Documentary Association Best Curated Series Awards. He regularly serves on juries and as a presenter at film festivals around the world, including Sundance, IDFA, and Shanghai and Zurich Film Festivals among many others.
